Hi, Y’all!!! I'm Kristen, a lifestyle photographer, and it is so nice to meet you!
Believe it or not, I was born and raised in rural northeastern Connecticut. I moved to Dalhart, Texas in 1995 for my job. I met and married my husband a year later and I’ve been here ever since. I love Texas. God blessed me with the best family! ❤️ My husband, Rusty, and I have been married 28 years. He's my best friend and biggest supporter. God blessed us with 2 amazingly talented and handsome boys (now young adults!). We also have 2 horses and 3 other fur-kids.
I'm friendly, genuine, down-to-earth, and easy-going. I'm so grateful for the photography talent that I was blessed with and I love sharing my gift with others. In my spare time (what's that?! LOL) I enjoy working with and riding my horses, gardening, baking, and reading. I also love ALL kinds of music; you never know what I might be listening to. I'm a chocoholic and I love good COFFEE! I work full time for our local telephone cooperative, so photography is currently a part-time gig.
I’ve carried a camera as long as I can remember. After years of photographing my family and all the events and activities we were involved in, and with the evolution of social media where people could see my work, I was encouraged by friends and family to start offering my talent to the public. My husband and I became empty-nesters in 2018 and the following spring I decided to give it a go. I've been happily snapping away ever since!
